I want to play to my family amp; friends on my birthday. I have never play live in my electric eaven I play guitar over more than 12 years. I want to use baking tracks that I have, some covers, some mine.
My gear is an Ibanez rg570 with 59n amp; jb that sounds amazing with a hot rod deluxe and a pod xt live.
The problem is that going with the volume high enough to be heard by the people in some tunes (not in all) the guitar sounds (patches on the pod xt live) just like noise, horrible, don`t cut throught he mix well. But sounds very good at low volumes, and sounds exelent when recording on de computer via the pod.
I think the eq. is part of the problem and I think that the presence on the pod at high volumes.
For the backing tracks I use a home stereo to play it.
