I own an Agile 2900 Les paul (chambered). It doesnt have a Floyd, but I can totally vouch for Kurt and the Agile line. I wanted a les paul type guitar for GnR stuff without breaking the bank and without having to buy an overpriced epiphone... Agile was the answer. The guitar plays beautifully... as good as any of my guitars. Of course I dont own any high-end axes, but I've got MIM Fenders, 600 dollar Schecter, and this 250 dollar Agile stacks up wonderfully.

I cant imagine the floyd having too much trouble... Kurt is a good guy and takes care of things in a timely fashion.

Yeah, I noticed that on their site the other day. Normally I think LPs with trems are just plain ugly, but that one manages to pull it off.

I don't know about the FR, but as far as overall quality, Agiles are amazing for the price.

My friend just got a SX KY11 Custom, which is pretty much their spin on a PRS CU22. Except for some glue run out at the end of the fingerboard, it is perfect. The top is pretty and thick, the finish is nice, and even the abalone birds are done well.

Heck, after swapping out the switch, jack, and pots, even the pickups sound decent.
The quality is spot on.

Let me know how those Floyds play. I have my eye on Agile's PRS clone with a Floyd.

for that price couldn't you just swap one in if required?

i very well could. i just looked at warmoth, a gold OFR is $200. not bad. i might as well go with it, if theres any problems (which i doubt) i could eventually replace it with an OFR

sounds like a plan...go for it!

Only if an OFR fits. Remember, not all Floyds are created equal.

yeah....i doubt id have problems with this anyway

i'd be very iffy about that floyd copy since it's floating. if you block it for dive only it may last you longer (staying sharp and in tune). but with a real OFR that would be a pretty cool guitar!

It'd be no worse than the POS ones ESP uses on their low-end guitars.

I actually want one of those, lol.

yeah. my roomate has a very similar looking liscenced FR on his ibanez, and its held up pretty well over the years. i emailed agile about whether an OFR would fit, ill let you guys know when i get an answer for those wondering too

the dude said he doesnt really know, but he said theyve never got a complaint on that model
