Just pulled out the 2004 57 Reissue LP (the special quot;refinquot; one that I got at Wildwood).
It's been a long time since I pulled it out. The other two LP's have gotten much more playing time. This one I thought I'd keep as mint as possible. Wow. Just an outstanding player all the way around.
I want another one.
Me too, and I need a 3rd Les Paul like a hole in the head....but that doesn't stop the gas. I want a 58' like yours Scott.
Les Paul's are good food.
lol....i vow never to buy a new one...and i fight the powers that be to even buy one period....but....this one....really speaks to me...if i had the cash i'd pull the trigger right now!!! it's nothing special...but man it's just calling my name for some reason!!!???

Is that thing on ebay? It's beautiful. I've actually been looking for one like that.
Hoss, that looks like one of the R7 refins with the off center seam. Those are actually rather special guitars, made in a very limited number. Probably collectors versions some day.
Heck, it might not even be a real Gibson from what I can see, but that offcenter seam has me wondering.
yeah, the case is wrong.

This plush-lined case is soooooooo tight! Let me slip out of it and come sit on your knee.......

Les Pauls, I love 'em, and I need a 4th like a hole in the head, but I just can't help but want a 3pup Black Beauty....
I don't usually like Tobacco LPs but that top seems to fit the colour well.

Check out my Avatar and you can see the off center seam pretty well. Mine is a 1978 Custom. Once I get it back from the re-fret I'll post better pics.
I really want a gold top with p90s
the color and burst on that one is one of the best i've seen...it looks alot like this color that i made on kisekae...Hmmm, I'll have to keep my eye on that auction. It seems to be legit, but the seller says that it ships in the factory case, and that is not a Gibson case. The serial number appears to be right, but I'm no expert on conversions or forgerys.
Nice looking piece none the less.
It is a 70's. the triple top is indicative of 70's LPs. Some people love them, some hate them.
yeah...i did notice that the top was 3 pieces...i've sent e-mails asking him whether it had a 50's or 60's neck profile and what kind of case it was in?! just for kicks and giggles!?
i don't even mind the buckle rash and stuff on it...and that's rare with me...i'm pretty picky...but this one....i dunno?! Georgetown Ky is not that far from me either...!?
I looked again at the pics on ebay, and the serial number, and it may be a early 80's. the headstock is NOT the early 70's gibby headstock. the first and fifth number show it as an '85
That case does look like a stock Les Paul case from the 70's. My 78 Custom had a case like that but I upgraded to the newer brown w/pink fuzzy innards back in 1992. Not sure when they stopped using those cases though? Check out the Les Paul Forum... I'm sure they'd know.

looks like the real deal, the case doesn't though. that's all I was saying. I didn't realize they made off-center seam standards, that's all. Purty guitar for sure.
I totally appreciate Les Paul, even though he's all wrinkly amp; sh!t now.
that is a nice top... i've been gassing for the newer slash model.
as for the case it is a gibson from the 70-80s. My US Epi from the 80s came with the same style case
