I think I'm going to get one. Does anyone know anybody with this guitar? I'm not intereted in people who have played it in the store, I know the tone and play are awesome. I'm more concerned with lifespan. Are there any chronic/common problems that anyone is aware of?

i dun know abt the 400 series but the 1000 series with maple caps are awesome.

i was thinking about cancelling my order of viper 400 for 1 of these besides look it has 1 major difference 2 volume instead of the 1 on viper so if you wanted all bridge you can get that or just neck or both

the only bad thing i heard is with more electronic components the battery wont last as long i dont think it should be like changing a battery in an effects pedal but it may not last the full year they say it averages out to

The 400AT doesn't need a battery - it's the one with Duncans.

The 400 series are great, I haven't had a single problem with my H-400 except for one of the pickup adjustment screws (but that was because of a faulty screwdriver). Great guitars.

The 400ATS are great guitars! They are the only Eclipses with the thicker, LP style, bodies. All other Eclipses are thinner.

where did u see 1 archtop by the way cause 1s ive seen are flat

the AT series is archtops. (ArchTop). so the EC-400 is flat top, and the EC-400AT is archtop
