This is a Floyd with saddles that have rollers that appear to be brass. On the other side it says made in Germany. It doesnt have the regular saddles that are locked by allen screws. Sorry no pics because of such low res.

Well, if it's made in Germany I think that it should be a licensed Schaller one or an OFR. Both are made at the same Schaller factory and are, what I've heard, equally good.

If I understand you correctly what you're saying about the saddles, that you have those quot;tubesquot; (?) simply protruding through the back? It should be the earlier version of OFR. Fine tuners?

You have a Floyd Rose IIThe saddles are like a vintage trem but with a roller at the end. It does have fine tuners, and it says Floyd Rose, it doesnt say liscensed.

It's either a Floyd II or III here's a pic of the Floyd III

Floyd Rose hasn't made many variations of his bridges, if is says Floyd Rose on it w/out a lics. under stamp on it somewhere then its a real deal Floyd of some sort. Of course, there is a possibility that unless it was stock on the guitar, someone could have mutted it together from parts.

and FWIW, the saddles on the II and IIIs were made from brass or whatever was cheap at the time.

whats diff between I, II, amp; III other than the metals ? are there current II's and III's being made ? are they still using whatever metals are cheap ?

The Original Floyd is Double locking, milled from single pcs. of hardened steel

The II is single locking, cast pot metal w/ the flimsy inserts and cheap cast saddles

The III is single locking, hardened steel base plate, with cast saddles.

To my knowledge, the II amp; III are no longer available. Later on down the line, they switched the Floyd II to more like a Schaller lic. They were then made with locking saddles and better hardened steel inserts into a cast plate. These were used on alot of Jackson/Charvel guitars a handful of others.

There is no allen screws coming throygh the back that hold the string block. There is not even the ordinary string block floyds have.
