Here's a clip I did with my Custom Strat that has a JB Trembucker in the bridge position to a kind of classic rock backing track.

I did two takes and mixed them up a bit...I had a lot of fun doing so.

Tell me what you think!

Here's the track!

Lovin' it!

What amp/modelling stuff were you using?

Martian!

I just remixed the track to damp down the backing a bit, have another listen and tell me if it's OK now. :-)

I used a Strat made out of replacement parts with a JB in the bridge position.

It's the cherry sunburst Strat on the right

I used an old POD 2.0 for recording the solo, the backing chords were played through my Koch Twintone amp in silent recording mode. The drums and bass were done on an old Yamaha QR10 sequencer.

Glad you liked it!

That noise sounds pretty good!!

What is the difference between a JB and a JB Trembucker?

jb trembucker has a 2 parallel bars for each string pole instead of the standard pole. There's a gap in the middle of the pole, in other words, and this causes less string pull.

eeerrr...I 'm not really sure that is the case.
You are describing the Blues Saraceno model.

My JB Trembucker is exactly the same as a normal JB pickup exept the poles are spaced more widely apart to be compatible with tremolo bridge string spacing. It just makes the poles sit underneath the strings if you have a tremolo bridge. The normal JB poles are more narrowly spaced, making them compatible with standard fixed bridges like tune-o-matics on Gibsons.

yea, JB trembucker is just JB with slightly wider spacing

Love it - could listen to stuff like this all day long
