the good old days!!!Not a 5150 in sight!!!

If one wanted to play devils advocate, one might suggest that a 5150 replaced all that crap.

That is just a marshall with all the tolex ripped off. I don't think that's gold, that is just the wood color.

Ooo on second look, I think you're right!

Hey guys, here are two pics that didn't show up in my original post. The address file name was censored, so it didn't work:

cripes..look at all that gear! I remember when I saw boston about ten years ago...sholtz had so much gear it looked like HAL from 2001..

reminded me of bill shatner in Airplane 2..'and they're blinking and they're beeping! someone make it stop!'

They did but few will admit to it these days. I had one in the late 80's!!!!! There, I am not too proud to admit it!!

how could anyone need that many heads?!

All of them probably gives a slightly different sound, so for studio records, he would probably use one depending on what sound he wanted. It might also just be for backup, or for collectors value.

I guess I thought Eddie was more of a quot;plug it straight into the ampquot; guy in the early days. I know he used some effects but I thought it was just a couple of stompboxes. Very interesting.
