Hi humbucker-powered-mahogany-slab lover,
Quite some threads these days on the SE series from PRS. After the comparison between the LP Jr and SE soapbar, I was wondering what you would have to say on both afore mentionned axes.
Espacially on the quality/price rate.
well seeing as the Studios are over 2x the price i dunno, but they are quite nice. The SE quality is superb, body quot;bindingquot; is a plus. Studio's are much denser though and i prefer the Tuno bridges vs the wrap around, but the trem option is pretty neat.
In the end if i could get an upgraded SE custom or a stock studio, i'd go studio, the quality and tonal character is what really gets it.
If you want bang for the buck, go for the SE!
Tough to beat a used Studio that's built well, you know.
