i must say i am totally stoked over them as i did on a edwards p90 goldtop which i sold.

the vintage p90s are connected to 250k vol and tone pots with a .013 orange drop cap.

initial findings, love the tone on the bridge. less nasal when compared to 500k pots on the goldtop. the mids are to die for with clarity to cut through and enough lows to make its presence felt. surprisingly, it sounded almost similar to a cc i have in my strat with a single 250k vol pot.

as for the neck, i found it too thumpy. i will try to mess with the pickup height to find the sweet spot. the sp90-1 on the edwards was pure tonal nirvana. maybe the ideal is to combine a neck with 500k volume and bridge with 250k volume. but alas, my slingshot has room for only a volume and tone. maybe a 250k/500k concentric pot is the prescription?

i highly recommend you give the vintage p90s a shot for those who has never tried them. you will be amazed!
