The time for change is nigh my friends. I've been playing EL84 based amps for a lot of years, and the bark of plexi Marshalls is calling to me again. I'm going to have an amp built ot my specs, and for now I have a nice vintage head to pull rig duties.

So up on the block is my early production Framus Ruby Riot. Check my gear page for some pics, and if you're serious send me a PM or e-mail and I'll get some more specific pictures for you.

This is a seriously versatile amp, and can do everything from spank to syrup, from grind to melt your face off. It loves pedals, and simple tube swaps bring out entire new tonal pallets.

You'll get a selection of JJ and Sovtek output valves that cover the two temperaments of the output stage
1. Warm and harmonic
2. Screaming and demonic

The preamp is loaded with an array of moderate rated JJ valves with one NOS Mullard. You can throw in more aggressive preamp valves to turn this amp into a full on slayer, but with the included compliment it provides a nice range from classic to moderate high gain on the lead channel and wonderfully complex tones on the clean channel.

Also included is the installed Area 51 Tube Tremolo unit, the BMT 60 Deluxe which provides true valve output bias adjusting tremolo w/ foot-switchable 1/2 speed adjustment. Foot-switching is handles by a custom constructed pedal I had the guys at Area 51 make up just for this amp which houses the Framus channel and reverb switches as well as the BMT60 Deluxe's on/off and 1/2 speed switches. You'll have the only one, and this addition alone makes this the ultimate Ruby Riot...

Nothing but the absolute best components are used in this bad boy, and if you have any questions let me know... I know a LOT about this particular amp, the manufacturer (I've spoken in length with guys on their product development division), and I know a thing or two about how amps are put together

Shipping in the US will probably be around $80. It will be shipped in a form fitted expansion foam inside a strong cardboard box. I used this method to ship it to myself in Boston from LA where I purchased this amp originally.

Chances are you'll be the only one on your block with a Ruby Riot, and believe me: this amp's tone draws a LOT of attention.
