How can I actually replace those dot inlays in my neck?
thanks
Drill out the old ones and replace them with either other inlays or matching wood
Any good luthier´s supply will have the proper materials and glues, although black epoxy you should be able to get at any hardware store (z. Dt. Baumarkt). THe tools are: a drill
Hope it helps

This isn't another April fools Joke, Right? Inlay work requires lots of skill and
patiance. If you try it on your guitar The fretboard will be a splintery mess.
If you want to learn Inlay work get yourself a junker guitar and some
instructional video's and tools. That said ... it's better left to the Pro's.
I sure wouldn't use a hand drill! Maybe a drill press...
I dunno...seems like one of those questions where if you have to ask, you probably lack the experience to get it right the first time.
I'd leave it alone.

Hehe I think I have my old Squier neck left...
But can it be so hard just to get the old dots out and replace the with new ones of same size?
