This is a quick demo to try and display the frequency settings.
This is my ash tele with a custom shop bg1400 bridge pickup. I played through my plexi reissue, using a mass attenuator for the dirty parts. I used a shure 57 mic. There are no effects and there's not a backing track.

Pickup Booster Tones
Thanks Stevo, I wish I had speakers in my laptop so I could listen.
That does it, bro, I'm buying one next week....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr GAS relapse

LOL
but seriously.... it sounds like it makes a big difference in sound. Thanks dude!
Nice clip, I too love the pedal and it is beautiful with my old amps. No coloration at all.
but do i need a tube amp to benefit? how different to the other pedal - mr blues sara's?

No
Don't know
good demo, Stevo
you did a good job of holding back, but we knew you'd have to ROCK in the end
seriously, a good example of the spectrum of sounds with the Booster, and the tele's a good choice for showing that
Is this sortof like the frequency altering knob on some of the gibson guitars like the es-137 custom. Its a knob which cuts out certain frequencies i think, i loved using it when i had mine. It was great for cleans!

Yes it's a bandpass filter that shifts the initial resonant frequency by cutting some and passing others.
The boost is very cool too, but it's hard to demo a volume boost
The non-coloration of the volume boost and the frequency shift (mainly for making single coils sound like humbuckers) are both very nice features of this pedal
Thanks for the samples, bro.
thanks for the demo. I use one too, and would not be w/o it!!
peace out,

Yes I can get higher output tones with my Seth Lover. I think the frequency shift is the best attribute of this thing
