I know wah isn't everyone's thing and we all have thoughts on certain players and their wah usage () but I'm curious to see what everyone else is using and your thoughts. I'm always looking to add to my collection.

Anyone have the Automagic Silvermachine or Chicago Iron Parachute?

Here are the ones currently on my board...the fleet is bigger than this though I'd also like to add a Dunlop 2SR, but that's probably not gonna happen until October
-Custom Teese RMC3
-Dunlop 95 (soon to be modded)
-Dunlop 535Q (modded)
-Morley PWA (modded)
-EMB Audio Rack Wah (Boss Volume controller acts as an expression pedal)

MJ

i have a morley tremonti wah and a dunlop crybaby from hell (dime) wah and i use the tremonit much more. i love the touch it and it's on, let go and it's off simplicity of it. no need to push a button etc. great sounding wah too!

-Mike

I have a Crybaby GCB-95 and a Morley Bad Horsie 1. I used to use them both all the time when gigging, but I've recently moved away from the whole wah thing. In fact I didn't bring either the last couple of times my band played.

I have a Crybaby 535Q with a Fasel in it. I heart that wah.

I only own 1 wah pedal, and it's a Vox 847 wah that's been modded by our very own Stratdeluxer

I have your basic, no frills, 60 dollar, Dunlop GCB-95. It does it's job, but KILLS my high end. It is getting modded whenever I find the soldering iron in the massive abyss that we call a garage.

i own a dunlop crybaby(which sucks) and a vox 847 with true bypass

A BOSS PW-10 V-Wah that I don't use, lol.

I just bought a Vox Clyde McCoy Wah (used), which I love, but it makes funny squeak-sounds when I use it the first 5 minutes, and then it almost disappear. What can I do to get rid of it? Can I just oil it? If so, which oil?

I have a GBC-95 (piece of ****...sprry guys but these wah's sound horrible) and a Vox 847, which is good...as soon as I can track down a Fulltone inducter Im gonna get this wah modded by the man!

Funny you'd ask that as I'm going to buy a Silvermachine this month, I'll give you a full review when I have it. Next wah will be the Fulltone Clyde Deluxe. You might wanna PM AmpliFIRE as he has got one as well.

I've got a Teese McCoy Wizard Wah and man I love it. the sweep is amazing! I think I'm going to readjust the pot though to give me a bit more top end and a little less low, but other than that, it's such a well voiced wah pedal

All of my wahs have been tweaked out by me...

I own an older Crybaby
Vox 847 with a Teese RMC1 board w/Fulltone Pot and further mods by me..This is purely a single coil wah though.
Vox 847 with tweaked out board, fulltone pot, stack of dimes inductor..(My favorite)
Vox 848..All tweaked out with fulltone pot and inductor...

All of my wahs have either board mounted adjustments for quot;Qquot;,Mids,Gain, and Volume...
Some have a combination of externally mounted pots and pots mounted on the board for more overall adjustment of the wah's sweep, gain, and tone...

I have a wah built into my Boss ME-88, but I think it leaves alot to be desired, so I use a regular old Crybaby.
I prefer to place my wah's AFTER the distortion stage, much more effective, but with the ME-88 you don't have a choice in signal order,so I take the output of the 88 to the input of the Crybaby, then to my amps.
BTW I only use the wah on about 3 songs.

Wow, i have the same wah and it has loads of high end, almost too much, but it can sure scream when i want it to.

i have a crybaby from hell(dime sig.) and i love it. Great variety of tone(but a bit confusing if you're new to it) and and i really dig it's overall sound.

My primary wah is a Teese Wizard which I absolutely love. My previous wah was a Morley Bad Horsie v1 which I need to get rid of eventually.

i just use a plain old original crybaby. its ok, but i want to get it modded sometime in the future. i love the vox wahs i tried. and my friends digitech rp200 has good wah settings, too.

Me too, I like it alot, very nice stuff.

I use a Chicago Iron Parawah...

I used to have a Dunlop GCB-95, but I don't really like traditional wahs that much.
