HOLY ****! That thing sounded awesome trough a MODE FOUR Half stack! It tore my ****ing face off! the guitar was a jackson that had a EMG-HZ neck dimebucker bridge....wow
i heard the mode 4's were crap. never tried one, just what ive heard from people. real mushy sounding and numetally. cool that you got a good sound out of it though
yeah exactly, there distortion can get really, really heavy and the low end is freaking amazing, nice deep bass, but they do have that classic crunch too. you just need to tinker witht he settings...the thing is so verstile!!!! I think I may have a new gas!
I wonder about that pup.. really.. dont have a chance to try as they never come stock with a guitar brand.
If you know the sound of Duncan Custom.. can you compare them?
Sorry I dont know what a custom sounds like...but the dimebucker is insane, hands down!
Sweet, man. I'd like to try one out, too. The ripping your face off description makes me want to even more.

whats your point??? the question was what guitar does a dimebucker come stock in?? and that one does.... i think retard.
Yep dimebuckers are amazing, so far their my favorite for low tuned metal.
Dimebuckers do rock. I played a Jackson Dinky with one installed recently and it owned. Awesome pup.
If you got that excited playing through a Mode Four, the Dimebucker must be the REAL DEAL!

The MODE FOUR is an amazing amp! Give it a chance.....not everything is about tubes. But it probably would had kicked even more ass through a duel or triple lead though.

Played on a mode four, Its a decent enough amp really, just as long as you stay away from quot;Amp 2quot;, or the real heavy side. Just gets too muddy and compressed. Amp 1 has a nice Jcm800-ish feel to it though.
Have yet to try out the dimebucker, seems no one round here carries the expensive deans .

You might want to see if Robert_S will chime in on this one. He has tried quite a few of the SD pickups and, I believe, he has the dimebucker in one of his main axes. He had a good review on it a while back (old SD forum board).
this thread just made me wanna put my dimebucker even faster now!...unfortunatley i have to wait

Yes they do.... , check out the Dimebag series
The tones I get from the Custom and Dime are similar, but I´ve never AB´ed them in the same guitar, so I´m wary to post on that.... the guitars they´re currently in are a bit different acoustically...
