Most dealers will weigh them on a good scale. I have one of those big fish scales where you hang the fish! Well, I wrap a small strap of leather around the headstock and weigh mine with that scale. Not the most accurate, but not too far off.

Very nice. One of the lightest backs I have seen. Mine weighs in at a featherweight 8.1 lbs. You should LOVE the tone of that baby. My R7 isn't going anywhere....especially after Odie cuts me a new bone nut and levels the frets....yummy.
