Alright, ive given up on my pursuit for a tube amp for a time being, ( major pain in the ass trying to sell my solid state) So... ill be waiting till october around my birthday for the Fender Tube amp. For now im shopping for pedals. Heres what I want to get

1. Wah Wah, Ive heard RMCs are awesome, and Vox 847s. But basically, im looking for something with a huge sweep that sounds good. RMC-2 seems to be what im looking for, but if you have a better suggestion please do share. Oh yes, and im using a Strat with Surfers if that matters.

2. OD pedal- i think im gonna go after a TS-9, any better options?

3. Tremelo Pedal- No idea what i want, whats good?

4. Fuzz Face- Ive looked at Dallas Arbiter and Fulltones, what has a better tone?

Ok, so if anyone could help me with this, id appreciate. Thanks!Alex

For a trem pedal, Ive heard good things about the Keeley modded BOSS TR-2 pedals, stock they can be troublesome, volume drops, low end sucks, all that jazz, I might even ask Stratdeluxer if he can mod it, prolly run you cheaper than a boutique pedal . . .

Thanks, I might do that, 90 bucks sounds ok, anyone ever have an experience with a Voodoo Lab.

and, Bed Time - Bump!

Consider the Tweek Fuzz!

running into an overdriven amp, or an overdrive pedal, the Fulltone 70 fuzz is amazing.....fattest tone ive ever heard, and nails late era hendrix, if you dig that tone

1) wah - if you want huge sweep, get a Fulltone Clyde, Pro Analog Supa Quack or a Teese Wheels of Fire wah

2) Od - get a MJM Blues Devil... best modern production 808 made.. will eat your Ibanez and Maxon pedals for breakfast and the price is right

3) Trem - I was looking at a Demeter Tremulator before and it looks like the quot;onequot; to get

4) Fuzz - Pro Analog makes a few that are absolutely killer like the Mk II (based of the Tone Bender - Jimmy Page effect). He can do Band of Gypsies Jimi no problem.

I'd suggest spending the most on an Overdrive, like a Banzai Fireball II for $200
The best less expensive wah is a Budda Bud Wah.....after that go for a used Fulltone Clyde off Ebay.
For Fuzz, I haven't heard it, but I'd be willing to bet the new Duncan Tweak fuzz will suit your needs.....or a Fulltone 69. I may be selling my T. Rex for $175, which doubles as an OD or Fuzz. If you want to kill two birds with one stone, buy my pedal.
Look up the T Rex Mudhoney on Harmony, and you'll hear nothing but raves.
It's so badass, I shouldn't even be selling it.

keep in mind though, almost all fenders have badass tremolo circuits!

Im curious about that blues devil.....

I had one for quite a while and loved it. Then I bought my Pro Analog Dual Drive and it owned every pedal I've ever used before, so the Blues Devil got sold. Trust me, it's a great pedal and you can get it for right around the price of an Ibanez TS-9, sometimes cheaper online (because people just don't know about them that much). There are still people on the Gear Page that swear by them and the pedal has been out for a long time.

Overdrive: Lovepedal Eternity is killer. Mine came with 2 interchangeable IC's and its an amazing box. I'm also interested in BJF Electronics. The Honey Bee sounds great, as does the Emerald Green Distortion Machine.

Fuzz: The Fulltone '69 is really good. You could also check out the Addrock Geranium Fuzz, which is a more modern, higher gain germanium fuzz. The Lovepedal Black Beauty Balance is another one that sounds great and is very adjustable. The Lovepedal Karl is truly one of the most wicked devices out there.

Randy

OD pedals - have a look at the Jeckyl amp; Hyde. I don't have one, but it gets fantastic reviews wherever u read about it, and I have a similar (but cheaper!) pedal in the yellow Boss SD-2 dual overdrive. The boss is discontinued, but a blues driver or something would also be at the same burger stall.

Yes, I know that, and ill only be able to get a fender after october, and i need a tremelo pedal pretty bad right now.

and GJ, i might take u up on your offer if you were gonna sell it. Tell me when you do, please! '

and thanks for all the advice, ill check all of these pedals out asap.

So, it seems, since i want the Jimi Hendrix sounding fuzz, i should go with a Fulltone 70?

heres what i think im gonna be buying pretty soon, im in need of a Tremelo, Wah, and Fuzz for now. How do these sound.

1. Wah- RMC2 , The changeable sweep and sharpness of the wah has me basically sold for the price. Anyone have objections?

2. Tremelo- im thinking about a demeter tremulator, any reasons not to get this pedal?

3. Fuzz- Fulltone 70 or 69, which has more of a Hendrix/Band Of Gypsies tone?

Any different recommendations?

idk, it depends what fuzz sound you want, the big thing is between silicon or germanium transistors.....germanium is a little warmer, but not quite as much gain or sizzle, and germanium can act weird with hot tempertures i read......... silicon has more gain and fatter sound, just in my opinion tho

Check out the barber LTD pedal its only 100 bucks and it sounds amazing, if you want to do some serious pedal hunting check out this store. from : localhost/www.musictoyz.com

well, basically, which fulltone sounds more like hendrix/band of gypsys (fat)
The fulltone 69 or 70?

I have and dig the Fulltone Supa-Trem. I A/B'd it with the Voodoo Lab, and the Fulltone beat it. It's got some cool features, like the 1/2 speed switch.

Edit: Should i go for the Fulltone Supa Trem or the T-Rex Tremster?

Bump, would a Fulltone Supa Trem or a T-Rex Tremster be a better choice?
