Hello,
I am looking to upgrade my Ibanez LR10 It's a 335 copy that I just love. I want to replace the pickups, but i need some help in deciding.
I need to keep a nice warm tone for jazz, but I also need it to get a nice ACDC ish classic rock type of tone.
My initial thoughts are either a set of 59's or perhaps some seths.
Any other suggestions are most welcome.
Please help.

Anyone??? Any suggestions??
I wonder if no one has commented because your initial thoughts were right on the money. I bet a set of 59's would be killer in that guitar. In fact, I'm hoping to score a 335-ish, or at least a semi-hollow body guitar some time in the next year to put my own 59's in to.
Seth's would be cool also.
The Seth's I tried in my Sheraton were great, as are the Phat Cats that are in there now. I think that the 59's would be good too, but I wasn't too fond of the low end wallop it had in the neck of my LP. It was a bit too boomy for my tastes.
OOOOOOO... Phat cats.... I hadn't thought of them. ****** Benji, that's a great idea.
Warm nasty growl.... P90 warmth..
Hmmmmm MEOOOOOWWWW!!!
I like I like.
I've got a '59 in the bridge of mine, and it's pretty good. I'd suggest that (or seths if you're willing to pay more, I suppose), and maybe get a phat cat in the neck - that'll help your jazzy leanings. Still, a humbucker in the neck will sound very different to a p90 there, so I'll leave you to decide which you prefer...
Let us know what you decide to do!
Dude, get some Alnico 2's. I was going to get some for my Fender, but thought, fark it, i willjust get a hollow body and get some A 2's.
