Anyone know if he will still make a hybrid Strat pickup with A3 and A5? It no longer appears on his website for Strats but it does for Teles.
I don't know, but Lew should be along in a little while. He is our resident Lindy Fralin expert....and a Lindy Fralin expert. If they're available, he's the guy to help you.
You know, the alnico 3 Strat pickups are not very popular. Even the guys who work for Lindy are not that crazy about them and consider them to bright. But I'd think you could just call Lindy and he'd put a set of 5/3's together for you. He offered to make me a set of alnico 2 Strat pickups and those are not in his catalog and never have been. Lew

So why didn't you have him make the a2 Strats? Or did you

I ran out of Strats! I love Lindy's single coils, but all but two of my Strats (My '63 with original pickups and my '57 Reissue with Fralin Vintage Hots and Steel Pole 43 bridge) have Duncan Antiquitys.
