Anyone seen these yet? Here is one on e-bay from : localhost/cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...323097367amp;rd=1I can't find them on the Fender web site. I saw a slew of them at GC Dallas this weekend- a 1x12 all tube combo with a Jensen speaker. I didn't get to crank it but they sounded nice at lower levels. They look like they have been through a war (very relic'd - grill cloth all ripped, etc...) but $400 (new at GC) for an all tube Fender isn't bad in my book. I am going to go back and try it with a Keelley Tube Screamer and see what happens!!

I hate to pee on your corn flakes, but I don't care for them. Too relic'd looking. I guess I've never been a big fan of blues juniors after the several I tried rattled to the heavens on certain frequencies. Bugged me to death. Putting them into a relic'd tweed cab didn't seem to really do it for me that much. I'd have preferred they just went with normal new tweed and relied on us to relic it ourselves with play. I'm kinda like that with guitars as well, so at least I'm consistent.

the reclic has an alnico jensen which is very cool, they do make a normal un-beat up jr as well but and it has a jensen, but not an alnico one, so it looks pretty but doesnt sound as nice as the relic

I thought it was a neat little amp. $400 for a 100% tube amp is pretty damn reasonable IMO.... It is a beat up looking little sucker.

for $400 a relic jr is a good deal!!

I thought it was... they also had like 15 of them all stacked up together. This was at the GC on 75/Lovers in Dallas.

It is definitely reasonable. I just am not a mass produced Fender amp fan. I got peed off because I went through three different Blues Jr's that all rattled like hell. I gave up and moved on.

Go for it. All the limited run production fenders with uprated speakers that I've heard have been great.

Of course I have seen one!!! I just walked past one in my living room 5 minutes ago!!! I saw one at GC a while back and snatched it up. It totally rocks my face off!!! I love the relic version too. People always ask me if it's an old tweed amp from the 50s. Feel free to PM me for the full details. Check out my signature for the pics of mine too!!!

GR8Scott and I just saw one here in Charlotte, but I think they wanted $499 for it....I could be wrong.
