Last Friday after a gig we were packing our stuff into the van when my battered right knee stopped working and I collapsed like a rag doll, with different heavy gadgets in hands, dressed like an X-mas tree and fell into different hardshell things. My amp head in my hands was still unpacked and as I tried to avoid a bone break I could succesfully throw it for a surprisingly long distance. Actually, it was a pretty fly for a white guy
Aerodynamically the JCM 800 and 900 are much better designs than the newer TSL, DSL heads and most of modelling amps because more knobs mean bigger CW so the JCM900 head with 8 aerodynamic knobs cuts through the air without an effort. After a series of free-style hoops, a couple of feet away it landed perfectly on its rubber feet with a rather loud mixture of CRANK! and BOINK! with a tight DAMM! on the bottom.
While I pulled out my Laney head from my left leg and removed the ergonomically structured guitar stands from my back, looking at my smashed palms I thought no solid component can survive such an impact. Well, the amp did. No harm, no scratch whatsoever. It is a true brickbreaker.
Marshalls. I LOVE them
Lmao that's actually pretty funny, haha, quot;pretty fly for a white guyquot;....
Yeah, old marshalls are bulit to last, while new plastic **** are made to fall apart, so that people have to buy new ones, and the company earns more money!!! Makes sense doesn't it?
Hehe yeah, marshalls rock!!

Haha great review! I love your avatar too dude.
That was a close one. I hope you nor anyone else has to try that again. Did you fair as well as the amp did?
It's not the worst that Necro's had to deal with zZzZzZaaa....p
Man you're equipment is out to get you.
Erlend: yeah you know the Offspring song I started to sing that song while lying on the ground. Well, my head clashed to the tarmac as well You're prolly right, many Marshall using fellows here in my place said new TSL Marshalls lack the reliability of the older JCM900 and 800 amps. I did not hear any wrong about the DSL. Hybrid and SS amps are different. MGs are cheap so they are quite popular here. We're on the road pretty often now'days and I always ask guys about their gear and some of them seem to be satisfied, some seem to be annoyed of little failures. The vent is a major failure point.
Pierre: Near the 3rd quot;Xquot; I realised the thing that I used to do and now I miss in my life when I saw this:
from : localhost/it? 8x4x32x Darth Vader writer/rewriter set
JacksonMIA: Indeed! My heart stopped beating when I imagined the inside of the amp but fortunately nothing was damaged. Luckily.
Me? Guys said that prolly I landed in my head because since the fall occassionally I start to talk ancient Greek about some Minotaur and I start to search for my sword and armour, but I haven't cut myself and the armour fits right so apart from that I'm okay

LOL ... Man didn't you record that before the shock? Talk about asking for trouble.
Hopefully the aftershock stuff goes away
