before i start, it's been forever since i've posted here, so if this belongs in the OT room, sorry, but i figure it's close enough.
over the past few months i've come to accept the fact that i was meant to be a bassist instead of a guitarist, which sucks because of the 8 years i've spent playing music, i haven't really practiced a whole lot on bass. maybe a couple years' worth. so i'm now looking for some sort of instructional dvd for intermediate bass to help me brush up on my technique/scales/etc. i'd really like to be able to take one on one lessons from someone, but i really just can't afford it at this point. anyone know of any good dvd's (or books for that matter) that could help me out?
check out the Jaco Pastorius instructional video...a wealth of knowledge in that one video. Avoid flea videos...it's mostly just him playing and talking about his philosophies on life
