The Fralin Steel Pole 43 is supposed to be about the closet thing you can get to a P-90 in a Strat single. I have not heard it, but I'm sure others here have.

SSL-4, the quarter pounder, is the closest Strat PUP to a P90. Very Acid Rock. Had mine for over 20 years and it still brings tears of joy to my eyes.

I hope when it dies it can live again by being rewound as it has been a part of my life for so long. The magnets are a bit rusty and God only knows how much sweat/ beer and pizza it's ingested.

Your just in luck, Rio Grande started making a strat pickup to emulate the sound of P-90. One of the guys at my work has it in his strat and it sounds awesome.
