Okay I have an Invader in my alder jackson and was going to put a jazz in the neck because of course it would be perfect BUT they do not have Jazz's where I live... Well they do but they are bridges...So Im in quite a pickle. What neck pup goes with the invader??? HELP!!!In case you dont know i play mostly metal.
never tried it myself (cause my guitar with the invader is a single hum), but the pearly gates seems to be a popular pick
I think the Jazz bridge model in the neck would work out with an Invader in the bridge.
Jazz Bridge will work well with the Invader in the Neck...
I would try and find a FULL SCHRD NECK though... that will be a really nice match... cosmetically and tonally
Distortion.
I put Screamin Demon on the NECK of my guitar, an awesome pair for my Invader on the bridge.
Duncan 59 makes a very unique sound
Actually Im gonna put the weirdest pup in the there just because i wanna find a unique sound... But i might just put a PGn
I think you should choose a model that will sound good with the exact same settings as the Invader. I'd choose something hot and fat personally.
I don't know personally, but I have heard that a JB in the neck can sound pretty sweet, when matched with hot pickups in the bridge.
Dude, do a JB or a Bill Lawrence 500-L or 500-XL.
I have a, Invader coming from Kac and I think I'm going to put my JB that's laying around in the neck with it.
I have a 59/JB hybrid coming so maybe that for a neck pickup? and I have been wanting to take 2 slug coils of some yet to be determined hybrid (I was originally thinking a Jazz/59 bridge pickup for the neck to better match the output of the Invader in the bridge) and then pop out the slugs and screw in the matching black oxide screws like those found on the Invader. Will look cool no doubt, but possibly sound great too!
Two Hot Rails wired in series.
You can put any Duncan neck pickup with the Invader Bridge and still sound good. It just depends on what flavor you are looking for. The Jazz Bridge, Scremin Demon, and the JB will work well in the neck with it also.
Nothing! Bridge position, all volumes on 10 - ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it's any help at all, the stock pickups in a USA Jackson Warrior are an Invader and a Full Shred. But, any of the pickups listed will balance well with your bridge pickup.
Hey you guys Im putting in a....... JAZZ! I think its a good choice... The Jazz should even it out right?
But honestly I never really use my neck pup... Maybe this will change my mind.Correct me if im wrong but isnt the jazz like glassy, and trebly (well more so than my 59) and it goes with most bridge pups?Im just wondering... I know it will be just fine and hopefully to my liking... im just wondering.
O by the way im putting in the jazz neck not bridge... What difference would it make if I put in the bridge version?
