I put up a new clip...

what do y'all think of this quot;crunchquot; sound? (I realize for some this may be considered full blown distortion)

I tweaked my 2003 Patch on my pod, and I'm really happy with it through the Atomic. In fact, think I'm gonna leave the 59s in and stick with this setup...the quality of the recording isn't so hot, but in person it sounds quite good.

And yes, I know I'm not playing the song exact (I skip a few measures here and there)...I was just testing the new patch settings.

I dig it, but gotta say that it doesn't sound terribly evil. It sounds like a good rock sound, but there again I don't think it sounds devilish.

Heh..that wasn't the intention. It was a joke regarding the title of the song I was playing

Thanks re: WC..That is the Rivera...Honestly, the tones are very similar between the pod/atomic and the Rivera....generally at least. Of course the Rivera is all tube and have to get the volume up there quite a bit to sound good.

one of these days I'll grab a real mic and some recording software and make a decent recording.
