my friend Jack Creek helped me find a new amp ..

it's a used Victoria Double Deluxe ... a perfect amp for me - tweed, 30 watts, warm responsive tone

this one has Greenbacks, but I'm likely to try Jensen P12Q RIs in it - for one thing, they're a lot lighter, which is great when you're taking it somewhere

anyway, here's a pic:Nice! What year?

Is it two Deluxes in one? Combineable, by bridging channels? It looks kinda 'turn of the century to me!!

I hear those victoria amps are the holy grail of fender style amp tone. And with a ridiculously high price tag to match.

good gear, like anything else of quality, costs more, but the good deals on Victorias are on the used ones. Some folks get decent amps and find out they just don't suit them, so they sell and move on.
look on the Gear Page and you'll see quite a few high end amps for sale
