I guess I depends on the particular model but... Is there any way to estimate when a speaker it's going to start to compress?
I think this is important to know how loud a speaker it's going to be respect to another. This thoughts came to my mind when I was thinking in this example: Imagine you have two speakers with 97db sensitivity and one it's 30Watts rated and the other it's 60Watts reated. If you install them in two equal amplifiers of 25 watts and you set both amplifiers to maximun volumen then, I guess, the one with the 60 watts speaker should be louder since it won't compres the output.
Am I right?
