Anyone know where I can get gold metalflake pickguard material. My sister-in-law bought my niece an Aria LP clone for Christmas. My niece, being a fashionable ~14-year-old, wants a gold metalflake pickguard. I don't think the Aria is similar enough to a real LP that pickguards are swapable, so I voluteered to make a copy of the original in gold.

Now, I can't find the material.

Spray paint... I don´t know aof a quot;Metalflakequot; or quot;metallicquot; PG material, sorry...

C'mon, dude. Half the Tele's in Nashville have metalflake pickguards.

They're usually silver, but I figure there must be gold out there somewhere, too.

If not, she'll have to settle for gold pearl.

That may be, but I´ve never seen a plastic or acrylic material that has that look without being spray painted.... The closest thing I´ve seen so far is Brushed gold...
