Hey Everyone...Last night I was working on my Jackson in which I have a C5 in the bridge position. When I looked closely at the pickup, I noticed a hair-line crack on the bobbin closest to the neck that runs the length of the bobbin right through the pole pieces. The guitar stays in the basement and doesn't get abused...in fact it's been a while since I've picked it up at all.

Has anyone else had this problem? What could have caused this? It's no big deal, it doesn't effect the tone, I'm just curious.
