my carvin arrived yesterday, and its flawless. i got it off ebay for 650, w/ OHSC, original floyd rose, coil taps on both humbuckers, birdseye maple fretboard, 24 frets, neck thru construction, and in brand new condition. i thought it was a steal. the coil taps sound good, im not sure if im even going to put in the dimarzio pickups i have in it. i wished it had an ebony board, but id pay alot more if i had gone to carvins custom shop. i installed the d-tuna myself, it works great. heres some pics:

thanks guys, its kind of sad though because now ill be playing the les paul alot less for a while, and i paid alot more for that... but oh well.

cool. Not my cup of tea, but still sweet.

the d-tuna when pulled out drops the e-string to d. i still dont have it set up perfectly, for some reason when i push it back in for e the rest of the strings go out of whack for like 5 seconds, then theyre normal. its really weird. i think the bridge pickup is the c22b? im not sure. theyre both carvin pickups. ive got a f-spaced super distortion and a humbucker from hell on hand, so i could drop those in if i wanted to.
