Ok people, I'm pretty shure I know what that means, but as I'm not native english I'm not 100% shure you know... So could someone explain it so I know if I'm right or not?
thanks
Action is the term associated with the height strings are off the fretboard. Low action will be closer to the fretboard and fretting the note will take less effort.
Sorry Guys, gotta get European on ya
Action = Saitenlage, also der Abstand zwischen der Saite und der oberkante eines bundes....wird meistens gemessen zw unterkante Saite und oberkante des 12.ten Bundes, dabei aber am 1 bund niedergedrückt (damit der Sattel bei der Messung nicht ins Gewicht Fällt)
Ich hoffe dir ist damit geholfen
not perfect but for all non german speaking people this is more understandable
Action = string situation, thus the distance between the string and the upper edge of a federation....mostly measured zw lower edge string and upper edge 12.ten federation, however at the 1 federation depressed (with it the saddle with the measurement in the weight does not fall)
I hope you am helped thereby
ROFL, I knew there was something strange about my guitars, I ordered Klingon!

Well, from what little Deutch I remember from school, I managed to pick up on about three words of that. I did understand the last sentence, though. And much better than that online translater program, too.
Time to go brush up. Auf Wiedersehen!
LOL..... wow that just shows that German--gt;English translators generally don't work. But anyway as Chris and Zerb said, action is how high off the fretboard the strings are. And as I'm sure you should know, the lower the action, the more sensitive the strings are over the frets; less pressure is needed to press the string down and bending becomes easier.
Yeah ok people, just wanted to get the term translated, not the whole stuff
As you may know I can speak english but I just don't know those special phrases... although this was exactly what I expected it to be...
k thanks people
