well, i don't have it yet, it's in the mail (just the sellers pics and a UPS tracking number hehe) but i just scored this sexy animal for a killer price and i'm real psyched about it. should be here Wed or so for better pics and a review.
it's a 2000 wayne (charvel) mahogany body (tru-oil finished), OFR, evans pickups, custom strat head neck with 15quot; radius 6100 frets and a medium C back shape (oil finished). this should be one hell of a player!!
sorry for the so-so pic, i didn't take it (since it's not here yet) the seller did...

sweet guitar mike!!!
That's hot dude.
That's cool. I've been pondering putting together a guitar just like that, only with an old Charvel-style brass bridge. I think you should get a vintage Charvel waterslide decal, and finish off the headstock.
thanks guys! this should be a heck of a player! i can't wait for it to get here. i'm usally not one for rosewood boards but this was another one that was too coll to pass up!
GJ: i have the logo ready to go if i decide to add one (i make my own decals) but with quot;modified in NYquot; under the charvel logo. so i think that will be safe with that so it will look like a normal charvel until you read it up close hehe. also i like your idea and am actually working on that (vintage brass bridge). i have another charvel style build going on now with a top monted floyd and another that i may go with a brass vintage trem on and after all my guitars sell i may pick up a reissue strat head charvel which also has the vintage brass trem. i'm all about the sper strats now, nothing else does it for me. thus why so many of my guitars are for sale.

Dude, that rocks. If you ever want someone to take care of it while say, you're on vacation, I'll glady volunteer. I love it.
Erik as soon as that NY graphic kramer get's here to the state it belongs in with me i'll let ya baby sit this one hehe.

Is that floyd flat-mounted?

Yeah, unless you're action's super-super-low there's not really a benefit of being able to pull up.
i have one strat (iron maiden signature strat) that has a floating floyd and while i love the guitar i hardly ever pull up on the bar. also due to the way i play some songs (resting my palm on the bridge) it will go sharp so i have to play with an extra light right hand when i play that one. no big deal but if given a choice i'll take a non-recessed floyd like this over a floater any day.

Let me get back to you on that, Mike....LOL
Originally Posted by Daveyand i found out i REALY dont like H/S setups if the neck pup isnt slantedi never use real singles in the neck. always single sized hums so it pretty much sounds like a Hum/Hum guitar yet looks single single. for the most part hum/single or just a hum in the bridge are the setups i like best.

the mutt has landed! after a fret polishing, fingerboard oiling, new strings etc etc and a custom headstock decal it is one kick ass guitar! the neck is nice and meaty and feels great with the oil finish. the body is a nice hunk of 1pc solid mahogany and it just sounds killer unplugged and pretty damn good plugged in. to be 100% honest i'm not sure i get along with the evans pickups (despite the high price lol) so i will be swapping them out for a zebra JB in the bridge and a black new style hot rails in the neck and this thing should scream! all in all i got a killer deal on a kick ass guitar and i'm happy i bought it!
NEW PICS...
and i decided on this for the headstock. also decided not to clear it so i can take it off if i ever sell it. but as if the quot;modified in NYquot; wasn't enough to tell it was a mutt lol.

XSSIVE, pics don't seem to be working buddy.
