Hi all!
I got a Yamaha Pacifica 604w, and strat-like guitar with alder body and rosewood fretboard and a nice Wilkinson bridge.
I had some old pickups hanging around so I put them into that guitar. In the neck position I have a little 59, while in the bridge position I have a Dimarzio superdistortion (it's nice to get the old Iron Maiden's sound, ).
The guitar includes a switch button on the tone knob (originally used to split the bridge PU, but I'm trying to rewire it to split the neck PU, has someone already made that? ).
I wonder if someone could suggest a middle PU that would play fine with those two pickups.
I play almost any kind of music.
thanks in advance

Hey Morlop, WELCOME TO THE FORUM!!!!!!!!!!!!For Buckers:
If I were you I'd go with another lil 59, or maybe a hot, or cool rails. Both are bassy and have some balls to them. The lil screamin demon is another option, it will be hotter than the lil 59 but not as hot as the Super Dist. It will give you a crunchy tone in the midle slot.
For Singles:
Strat Hot for a scorching strat sound or the Custom for a little less so.
For smoother more vintagey sound I'd go with the Vintage or Alnico 2 Pro.
Luke
Thank you very much for your advise, I think I will go for another Little 59.
