Rock on!
It's an Epiphone Les Paul Custom, in black/ebony. Cost me £400, and as I payed in all cash, I got a nice reduction on a nice Gator hardcase.
I would have to say that my LP beats my MIM Strat into fits. The tone is so much more meaty, yet mellow. It's awesome. It looks that bit more classy too. Since I got home I have been playing all kinds of blues licks, bonding with my new baby!
With it, I can even get a good distorted tone out of my Marshall MG50DFX. I did borrow a Marshall OD pedal today, so I should be all set .
I don't intend to mod it that much at all. Everything about it feels so right. Guys from The Pickup Lounge may remember my plans for it. Still undecided whether to go for a '59/'59 set or a '59/JB. A Custom/Custom Custom might feature in my plans too
Pics/clips should hopefully follow tomorrow, when there is decent light
Sound like the same guitar I just bought with the same results. I love the sound, looks, and the way it plays. The neck is closer to my Joe Pass also so the transition from one to the other doesn't feel as odd as it did from my SG.

Congrats bro!
Custom/59 or Custom/A2Pro or Custom/PGn would be my first choice in Duncan pups for it...CC sounds good in Eriks and Stevo's paulas, but I think the Custom crunches better for hard rock..CC is a tad smooth for my personal tastes...I like that slightly edgier crunchy sound.
JB...(gotta get into quot;Odiequot; mode here)...just doesnt sound good to me in a paula...or rather...it takes away from the Paula signature sound...
