Anyway, I bought a SH-5 for the bridge in my gothic sg and was taking out the EMG's. Anyway long story short, the guy who did the job rewired the bridge to rhythm (SH-5 is in the bridge, you have to flip it to rhythm to activate it) and rhythm pickups to the treble switch. Anyway if I was too rewire that mistake correctley, what would I need to do? Besides buy a soldering kit?

3-way switch, right?

soso when you put the switch in the 'necl' 'position, the bridge pup is on, and vice versa?

middle position is fine?

easy ... rewire the switch - swap the 2 wires

cheers and good luck

Doesn't an SG have an LP-style switch? I'm not sure. Can't you just loosen the nut on the switch and rotate it 180 deg's in the body?

SG's have the right angle swtich, so re-wiring it is the only option... the other is to set fire to the useless tech...

Ah . . . that could be a problem then.

If you paid for this job, take it back and make him do it right. Eh, forget that... get a soldering iron, learn to do it yourself, and never pay for a pickup install again
