Yeah i'm busy lately

I'm trying to put a new black pickguard on my Fender to accomodate a Super Distortion, and I'm not feeling tone knobs anymore. I normally have the middle single coil's tone dimed and the neck one at 0, so my question is, if I wire the capacitor that's on my tone knobs between the neck pickup and the switch or volume, will it have the same effect as a tone knob at 0?

Yes - the cap, with no resistor is the same as a tone control on zero. The cap, with a 250k or 500k resistor in series, is like a tone control on ten.
