Anyone have experience with this amp? How does it compare to the Legacy? I love the idea of three channels. I know sight unseen the clean tones are killer - just because all Carvin tube amps have unbelievable clean tones.
I would love some thoughts if anyone has put it thru it's paces
Just heard about it today in the carvin catolog. Looks pretty spiffy, seems like its got some cool features. I'd be interested as well if anybody's tried one out.

$900 for the head/$1400 for the 1/2 stack ain't too shabby.
If it sounds like it looks, they might have a winner
Hmmm. Time to check the mail. Rest assured, I'll have about 4 Carvin catalogs!......one for every fake name I use at music stores, when they enter my info into their computer.
That's how I know who sells my personal info.
I would check out a PV Ultra. Great 3 channel amps. I had one from the early 90s easiliy found in the 200.00 range now. Great clean to scream. The newer version also is loaded with some very cool tweaks. They are cool for what they do. Another sleeper is the 2nd generation Marshall Valvestate. The VS100 head was a very good amp for me. I think that gen of the Valvesate line is far and away the best. Although the Mode 4 ain't bad.
looks like a simpler road king. Cool be a cool amp. I'm not a huge fan of the legacy, but the the tweed amps they make are great.
on paper this looks like a dream amp!!! very tempting to give one a try since the price is good. hmmmmmm.

I really like my legacy so I'm tempted to try it out.

Hot Damn!!
Did you guys get new Carvin catalogs already? I usually get a bunch of them, but haven't seen the new one with this amp yet.
No info on their site either! How weak!
yeah i got my catalog today.

Man, that does look like a great new amp. Anybody have any experience with the old X100, or X50 B amp heads? I am having some trouble searching their (Carvin's) forum, and can't seem to bring up any info.
Thanks...
Nevermind!! I was able to do a search here for the X100, and it doesn't look like something I'll be using.
