Would there be a significant difference if I changed the stock grillcloth from my marshall tv cab to basketweave grillcloth?
Not very noticeable, but thicker cloth passes less highs. The real issue is the difficulty of disassembling the baffleboard from the cab, carefully removing the white piping, and getting the logo posts out of the baffleboard. I'd only do it if the original cloth was torn.
I had my cab changed to the Marshall quot;Canequot; Basketweave cloth, and love it. I had it done at Splawn Guitars here in NC, but I'm sure there are tons of places to get it done. Cost me $70 and was worth every penny.

I like the look Jeff. It does remind me a bit of the ads on Ebay that specify quot;the collectable brown Marshall grill clothquot;, when what really happens is the black Marshall grill cloth fades to brown with time.
In your case it does a wonderful job of matching the cab and combo. Nice job.
