Hey, after being here almost two years I can finally show you my kit, so here goes:

My much abused but loved strat:My Wolfgang:

My Epiphone Les Paul Classic:

My Pedals:

My amps (Marshall DSL 401 and AVT50):Cheers for looking, feel free to call my strat ugly.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I'm really diggin' the Strat's vibe. It must have some serious mojo, eh?

BTW, nice pedalboard.

Nice strat..but **** man, you need a wipecloth!

My room is so effin dusty, I cleaned them no more than 30 seconds before each photo.

That's disgusting.

I have no idea where the dust comes from either, I hoover every week, washing is always gone straight away. Time for a new duvet I think.

I actually really like your strat! It's got character!

I LOVE YOUR PEDAL BOARD!

How does that park Fuzz sound?

Also, let me ask you...I have been shopping for Delay/echo units lately and it's comming down to either the Deluxe Memory Man or the H2O...could you compare them directly?

Thanks
And nice stuff!

I'm in love with your strat.
What happened to your LP, why did you remove the pot? How is the present wiring arrangement? And WTF is that thing between both coils of the bridge HB?

I've got the Jekyll amp; Hyde pedal, and I love that. Quite fancy the H2O, but would also like to compare it with the Memory Man.

Nice Stoner Rock sticker

I love the Strat!!!

Man.. I wanna make sweet passionate love to your strat. Serious mojo there... I especially love the fair trade and exxon statements

hey man the wolfgang looks nice... is it the QT model?
does it differs from the special model?
JJ
BTW nice pedalboard and amps...!!

Some things in these pictures make me cry... :'(

At least the pedal board amp; the wolfgang make up for it...

I love your pedalboard. The possibilities are just...uh, I think the word is quot;endlessquot;. Is that a nu or vintage Memory Man?

How does the JCM 1x12 work in a live setting? What's your max volume when playing with a drummer?

Nice kit man, As for the strat, used and abused, just like it should be.

1 for that Strat!!!

I wish I had the balls to do that to a guitar...looks FANTASTIC

Nice kit all around Brother

Thanks for all the positive comments, (and the negative!)

to answer the questions:

Closed Eye: I do have issues with the DSL 401, its not got the balls i need in a live situation, it can drive a 4x12, but i'm not entirely happy with the sound even then, i'm currently waiting on its sale, so that I can buy a Laney AOR Pro Tube 100watt head from Brow.

Ironjose: The Wolfgang is indeed the QT model. Pretty much everything is different to the USA models, cheaper, but not massivley inferior. For the money, it was a steal in my opinion.

Zippy: I have done some work for oxfam and people and planet, which got me really involved in these causes, where better to spread the message than my number one guitar thats on stage most often!

Screamingdaisy:Yeah, they send some great free stickers with the all thats heavy purchases!

LSP: I'm in the middle of fixing the Les Paul (recent dental bills holding me back) The tone pot needs replacing, it went seriously crackly, so i removed it. The Pickup bobbins are held in the right place with sticky tape, after two of the screws went walkabout. But that will be replaced with a SD Custom Custom from xssive as soon as ebayers and dentists stop messing me around (really sorry for the delay, will be in touch very soon)

The Guys Who Invented Fire: The Park is a very vintage fuzz, sounds great pushing an already driven amp, but put it on something clean with any other setting than full bass and it smashes toughened steel like eggshells, although, this can make for some great textural tones when mixed with a phaser after the fuzz.

As for the delay/chorus pedals, the H2O is a far more subtle affair than the EHX. The EHX has a shorter maximm delay time, but the maximum repeats are easily 10 times that of the H2O. The H2O's repeats are not as pronounced as the EHX, even with the effect level up full, they are never overpowering, with the Memory Man it is easy to go into just a mushy mess of delay and real signal, if the levels and fuzz/drive are too high (although that can prove really interesting texturally). I found trouble using both of them through the FX loop, but thats probably my crappy marshall loop.

Basically, the EHX can do everything the H2O can, and more on the delay side. But the absolutely beautiful watery chorus that the H2O has on board blows the chorus on the memory man out of the water, so I need both on my board.

On a side note, if any of you come across an Ibanez Phasetone like my little blue one in the picture, buy it. Great little vintage phaser, classic tones, love it to death, but its on the blink at the moment.

Thanks for the replys, hope this answers any questions.
