cool concept, never thought id see EMG's in a 335
yeah that's quite odd...EMGs in an ES...hmmm may sound cool.

I dunno, a 335 without the pickguard just looks naked to me . . .
I bet it'd feedback like a mofo.
Not necessarily, not all EMGs are super-high gain oriented.

Not necessarily; EMG's are not quot;hotquot; in the same way as, say, a Duncan Distortion (they get their punch from a built-in preamp) and they have very little string pull.
EDIT: LOL, we both said quot;not necessarily.quot;

Absolutely
Not bad, but I just can't see myself strapping on a big cream puff! LOL
Now, a black one exactly like it, and we're in business.
I actually know some excellent and big name jazz players who use EMG's on their jazzboxes. It's actually because of the low noise and -super- sterile clean sound they have. It works for some people.

1 buddy. I think it looks like it's made of plastic, and I find it hard to take a guitar as gorgeous as a gibby 335 without PAF-style pickups... it's just wrong...
