Here's the thing i've got in mind, but haven't been able to successfully draw up a wiring diagram.

Les Paul with Dimarzio Air Norton (neck), Steve's Special (bridge). Main 3 way selector wired (X = activated):

1) XX ||

2) || XX

3) XX XX

On top of this, i wanna coil tap with another 3 way switch, which will replace the position of the bridge tone knob:

1) |X X|

2) || ||

3) X| |X

A push/pull on the neck tone knob that runs both pickups out of phase when activated.

So in all i would have 1 volume, 2 tone, each controlling their respective pickups. Does anyone have an idea of how i should go about wiring this?

Hey pooo; The first part is fairly easy, but you won't be able to use an LP-style switch. It would have to be the quot;Alco-stylequot; 3-way in order to get that unusual switch sequence.

The inside/outside coil split is fairly easy too. You would have to use an on-off-on DPDT switch for that. Not a 3-way per se.

The phase thing is the only snag. You say quot;both pickups out of phasequot;. A pickup can only be out-of-phase with another, so I assume you mean, reverse the phase of one pickup.

If thats correct, let me know. I can make you up a simple diagram when I get home.
