Hails guys, when i first installed it, it worked very well, but since last week.
when i record a riff, and then i try to play it and record a lead while the riff is supposed to be playing, it is not working
i only hear my guitar playing, not the recorded riff.
what´s wrong?
anyone know how to fixit?
I'm not familiar with audacity but this is a problem asked alot with home recording. IMO you probably may a soundcard that doesn't support being able to playback and record at the same time. If thats not it some settings in audacity might have to be changed which I know nothing about.
Funny, my copy just started doing the same thing...
If anyone has an answer on this one, it would be appreciated.

i would think this issue is null with today's soundcards. if my z year old one can do it without a problem, i dont think his has these issues.. and he did say it worked before.
We use audacity to record sermons at church because it is quot;easyquot; but it seems to have a new problem similar to yours every week- On the other hand cubase on the same computer has never given us a bit of a problem, and in the studion we've never had problems iwht it or sonar or other relatively low cost systems.
So I think that Audacity just isn't very bullet proof and you might consider moving up to a more 'pro' system-
good luck-
