I've been totally jonesin for an Explorer for years and years and years. This is the one I want. All I gotta do is drop my gold covered set of 59's in it. Somebody please stop me, or talk me into it or something. It's really not that hard to twist my arm.

Ducking under the computer table... Well, he can stick it in it's case and ship it to me....lol. I figure they'll be making the 57 RI's for a bit, but they might not these. Besides, I gotta Les Paul or two already.

Wow,talk about a gift for understatement
Like they haven't been making Exploreres for 30 years. I must have missed the quot;world wide shortage of Explorersquot; report.
Apparently Jolly has the only copy.
1 Gibson Explorer = 100 bottles of ****el
Ouch
Life is too short to deny yourself some badass guitar-age.

nah....about 230 bottles actually
Put some of your unplayed axes on Ebay, and make your new Explorer FREE!
I'd get that exact one in the picture....must be a woodgrain one, not white or black IMO.
Also, I'd be partial to having nickel or gold covered humbuckers, not open coils, just to make it look more classy.
Buy It Jolly!!!!!!
Man I wanted and Exp so bad,got a Hamer Standard that was so lovely but I could not get a tone I was totally pleased with. It did not sing in the way I hoped. I tried pickups, magnets, pots, tone caps, everything.... I have since picked up a V that I love so much more. I think it has so much more 'sing' to it. I love radical looks on guitars and surely there are great tones to be found on an Explorer but for me maybe there was just too much wood. The V was so much easier to dial in. It was just an Epi too, I liked it better than the Gibby 67 RI and the Faded V I tried out. For 200.00 with case used this guitar is the shiz.
I think you should buy it, then sell an old guitar on ebay. You can then donate the money from selling the guitar to me, and I can use it to buy a guitar that's not made out of plywood, or a Charvel neck. It's your choice.
