Hi all, for begun, I'm french, so, excuse me for the faults...

In search of a particular sound, and because i want a new guitar ( ), i have to find some pickups with a colored (?!?) sound...

I'm a metal guitarist, but i don't want this classical ****ty EMG sound :fing25: ... so i have choose some solos who really touch me, and want a sound who is similar. I give a color for those, and i hope that it can help you:

- Megadeth (Marty Friedman), Trust : an an under estimate solo, it's for, one of three beatiful solo of all the time, the sound is Green for me... someone say me that Bill Lawrence L 280 will be great for this, but i never hear sample...

- Gun's N Roses (Slash), November Rain : yeah like a thousand guitar player, i'm a fan of Slash sound, particulary this solo, someone say that i will find my heaven in the C5 ou CC pickup. The sound is Red.

- Metallica (Kirk Hammet), Fade To Black : I really don't like Kirk Hammet, but i think he have done some great solos, he really don't have an influence on my play... but this sound, i saw him in a show with a Les Paul. Someone advise me about the Pearly Gates. I think the sound is Blue.

- Led Zeppelin (Jimmy Page), Stairway to Heaven : LOL! The classical... This is the most beautiful solo of all time... isn't it? The sound is Orange..

- Yngwie Malmsteen, (Yngwie Malmsteen), Vengeance : Another ****in' solo, the notes played speed are really impressive, but this is the sound, clearly, shining, like cristal... Someone told me that Chopper or Cruiser are similar. The Sound is White.

Well my guitar will have two humbucker and one Single Coil...

Can you help me and give one pickup for each color?
