Ok... my 3 year old daughter had been singing this little line all day so she finally asked me if we could record it. Tori gets credit for all vocals and the arrangement because she arranged the thing... it took about 20 minutes to put together. If you have children they may dig it.
I did something weird to record this... Tori grabbed my new Fulltone FD2 and said to quot;use itquot; so I went from the FD2 into a POD XT (Plexi setting), then straight into the computer. The FD2 was on for all of the parts with gain. All of the effects were the POD. The pickup was a '59 in a basswood frankenstrat. Enjoy!

Her laugh totally craps me up! I'll bet that was fun. Cool riffage man. The 59 is very tight and articulate. That's a nice compressed harmonic thingy you are doing there.
Haha! That reminds me of quot;Ya-Yo-Gakquot; by Steve Vai!!! Very nice!!!

haha thats awesome. thats all i have to say about that. just awesome.
That was cool.
I gotta ask . . . what is quot;Shark Boy and Lava Girlquot; from? I'm assuming a cartoon, or something.
T4D- just various loops mostly, i returned the Boss 880 drum machine, I just prefer working with acidized loops and making my own loops one beat at a time.
Artie- it is a movie right now, I haven't actually seen it but my little girl thinks she is Lava Girl most of the time lately, she has seen it obviously.
Haha!
I like that harmonicy riff a lot!
amp; yup, she's a q-t. Is she tempermental like most lead singers???
My girlfriend says that your daughter is adorable. It's a really fun little tune. I am really digging the Yankees tune you did too.
Thanks a lot for the comments... I'll pass them along to the little one. I think that crazy thing is doing better on the Soundclick site than anything I ever posted! It is #23 on the Rock Songs if I am reading it correct. Thanks again guys!
Hehe awesome RGN!!
As a father of three daughters I dig it big time!
