How does this thing work? I see they are for sale at Guitar Heaven for $45 but I'd think home-made would be a lot cheaper.

Singlecoil.com has a schematic for something similar but I don't understand it.

I don't think you can really do the sweet switch thing with an RC network. That circuit is quot;similarquot; the way a tone control is similar to a wah--you might be able to get what you're looking for but its principle of operation is quite different.
