Yesterday when this listing was new, I wrote to him and said quot; I fully understand stretching the truth for salesmanship, but calling a korean squier a fender shop is about as far from the truth as you can getquot;

First thing he did was change the listing to say quot;FAUXquot; that was not there before I wrote him. Below is his response:Im not real sure if you read my entire listing or not but I do not like being called a liar by any means. The only thing Squier on this guitar is the body and neck. And the main difference in a Custom Shop and a Squier is wood quality and not that much. Do some research and youll see what Im talking about. Either way even if you think the Squier body and neck are just crap, there are well over $700.00 worth of parts here. If you dont believe that then just go look at prices of this stuff from Stewart Mac, Musicians Friend, or even Ebay. I do not like someone acting like I am mis-leading them. A real custom shop guitar is over $2,000 depending on which one you get. For a little over $400.00 in my opinion this is the closest you can get. Heck if you think that Im over charging, go look at the parts that Ive bought for it on Ebay, add them up and then throw in the parts that I didnt get on Ebay and bought from Stewart Mac and youll see that Im selling it much less than what I gave for it all. Or jsut go buy you a Mexican Strat with all factory parts and no growl for $369.99. You cant buy these parts and put this guitar together any cheaper than what Im selling it for and If you can then you stole half the parts from the music store down the road. And I do not feel I have stretched the truth, the listing says its a project not a completed guitar. And as for my reserve do not worry yourself about it because its probably more than you would want to pay. Just go drop a couple grand on a real Custom Shop. This stuff really makes me angry. I know I should just laugh it off but these people pry on folks who are usually just getting into guitar and assume that everybody still tells the truth. I hope I don't sound like I'm over-reacting, but I honestly consider this theft.

The line that cracks me up is quot;The only thing Squier on this guitar is the body and neckquot;. Oh, is that all?

eBay gets worse and worse every day.

I hope he doesn't sell it.
