Wouldn't you know it, as soon as I get my H-207 playing at a point where I like it most of the time I have to go and try out this monster from : localhost/Mother of Pearl, she's a sweetheart. I've gone from hating active pickups to making an exception for the almighty 707's. The longer scale length (26.5quot;) makes the strings snap in brilliance, and it's almost impossible to notice the difference with your left hand. The only thing is that I didn't have to fight the urge to buy some bigger strings for it at the store to try it out properly, AMAZING. The neck was big enough to fill up my whole hand but not make anything unplayable, I ripped on it for an hour and a half straight and no sign of left hand fatigue what-so-ever. It almost brought a tear to my eye. The pots and tuners are top notch, solid but smooth in operation. The action was deadly, I usually like my action a little high but this thing had no buzz anywhere to speak of, and was LOW.....heehee.
Now comes the painful part, do you guys think I should drop my H-207 and the brutality of the Invader I have in the bridge slot, or wait a fair while longer to save up the funds and buy it comfortably? Also does anyone here have experience with the boys over at Drum City Guitarland? I'm considering getting it from there and I'm wondering how they are as far as set-up quality goes.
Thanks for reading this if you do, if you don't then you won't see this anyways.

That looks like a pretty sweet guitar. As for trading in or saving up and buying, I'm the kind of guy that hates to part with stuff like that - be it guitars, guns, vehicles. I'd wait a little longer and save up for it, but if you're not that attached to your other, you might consider a trade in.
I think it would be a mistake to drop an axe you really fancy. Just a littel patience, save up and get both.
Well I need to save up for school, car insurance, a new practice amp (line 6 spider 2) to take away to school with me, so by no means am I going to be able to subside my GAS in the near future.
Schecters rock. I prefer the ones with Duncans myself but that is a pretty cool guitar.
What do you have for schecters my man?
Looks great. I recommend no pepto. Let the gas happen.
I'll admit now it's a couple days since I've tried it and I'm a little concerned about buying a guitar with EMG's still. The V that I used to have had an 81 85 set and I found them to be horribly inconsistent in their tone. Passives always sound the same every time I plug them in. Those 707's sounded amazing at the store, but I don't want to have the daily struggle to dail in my tone like I had before, plus the Blackjack C-7 is around a hundred dollars cheaper. Duncans have never steered me wrong so could I get your guys' thoughts on this?
