Newbee here so forgive me if I am posting in the wrong spot.
I have been cleaning out my parts boxes and ran accross a SD Model M-D pup that if I remeber correctly I purchased in the late 70s early 80s. Has anyone heard of this pup? I can't find any info on it on the SD site.

Welcome to the forum.. I believe you have The Mag. It's similar to the Stag Mag, but yours has flat poles and alnico V magets as opposed to the staggered alnico II poles of the current production model.

A lot of people like it in the neck paired with a high output bridge pickup.

Seeing that the M is for MAG (being the pickup) and the D is for the winder...isn't that D for Duncan?!

I think its around $3 a bottle and it has an easy open cap! It dosent have any of that hard to open cork BullS**T. Just a good old fashioned screw off cap!!

BTW, I am not sure of the cost becasue back in the day we used to get it on an early Christmas shoplifting sale at the grocery store!!! ROTF!!!!!

BTW, back in high school me and my buds would sometimes get our hands on Mickey's. You know, the ones with the huge mouths on the bottles. There was nothing cooler (or more disgusting) than having a warm Mickeys.
