What Duncan neck pickup would match well with an Evolution bridge? Thanks.

I would say that the Invader would be a great choice, because of the nice thick non-muddy sounds it makes. But I would say that if you're looking for a more focused and direct tone, go with the distortion. Also if you don't like either of these ideas you could try a Bil Lawrence L-500 pickup. I would recommend the Xtra-Lead for your wants. This pickup is passive. It is a blade pickup and has a great full response. The distortion tones are incredebly articulate and clear with tons of great palm muting and lead tones even in the neck. If you want to read more on the L-500 or order from Bill himself which is the only way to get a new one, then refer to my signature and use the link. (For a little background on the L-500. It was the pickup that dimebag darrel from pantera and damageplan used before he had his custon duncan made. I would not go with the Dimebucker though because that distortion tends to get somewhat fizzy in the neck. That pickup should only be used in the bridge as a smoking, screaming, palm muted machine.)

What do you want out of the neck as opposed to the bridge? What style?

As far as Duncan, without knowing your answers to the above - I would say Pearly Gates or A2Pro. Many would say the 59, but I am not a huge 59 fan. I have been shocked how well the A2Pro goes with many high gain bridge models.

I would actually say, without knowing these answers, to get the Virtual PAF bridge model, OR an Air Norton. PAF Pro and PAF are also great choices.
