A little homage to Chuck, RIP.

Did this yesterday in all of two hours. Played everything but the drums, that was a midi file that I ran through battery and some free ****ty NSkit samples, so it sounds better than midi, but still not good enough.

Don't mind the rhythm guitars cutting out before the first breakdown, that was some WEIRD editing ****up that I didn't notice until it was too late to correct.

I used the Schecter into my V-amp2, and an Ibanez SDGR 5 string bass with EMG 89's into the V-amp with preamp modeling bypassed. One mono take for the bass, and one track left and right for the rhythm guitars. Phased guitar was one track up the center, as was the lead. Lathered some chorus on that, though, to get a more Chuck-esque sound.

I love Death, may Chuck R.I.P. This sounds awesome dude. Very well played.

So how about Richard Christy from Howard Stern having played drums for Chuck, isn't that veeeeerd?

Wait a minute you're only 14? I'm gonna give up. Nice job.

Yeah, well played. I have no complaints with it...

Nice! I'm a real Death fan too, I even play in a coverband here in Finland.

It seemed to go really well, just a bit of overall tightness missing IMO. You're quite a good guitar player, aren't you? Ha, it's great to see younger people enjoying metal that much to really learn to play some Death and other great music!

Death rules man, nice of you to pay respect to Chuck in this way. May he rest in peace.

Hails Man, good tone , i believe its the V AMP right?!
just the Open irff isn´t 100% right, the rest if pretty ok and cool.
good effort
i´m not a big fan of Death Myself, but i like two of their albuns : Symbolic and Individual Through Patterns.
****ing hails to you and to Death!
The lead is good and very near from the original i liked it.
did you learn it by ear or by TAB?

Not familiar with the tune, but you're sounding great

Thanks guys. I tried to get the lead as close to original as possible, but without hacking Chuck's style.

WFD, I learned it by tab. I've known the song for a good 3 years or so, rhythm wise, because I've covered it in like 3 different bands. I just had to freshen up the lead before recording it; I knew the general structure, but not the exact notes.

Dude, ur a frikken BADASS for being 14!!!

Well christ you're gonna be an awesome guitarist when you get older.
